This model can automatically segment areas of Lung infection in CT images for Covid-19 patients. It will scan the CT images and point out infected regions in Lungs of the patient. As Covid-19 has affected large number of people an automated solution can be helpful in quick diagnosis of disease. In this model a deep learning pipeline is used for COVID-19 lung infection detection, which can be trained on smaller 3D CT images datasets. Different preprocessing and Data augmentation techniques are used in order to avoid overfitting of the 3D U-Net Model.The model shows decent performance on validation parameters.
